WEBJan 8, 2019 · I used to use the XS version (so teensy tiny version) as fronts in a secondary setup a ways back. They were fine for gaming, basically fancy pc speakers. Compared to regular bookshelves, they lose, but that's to be expected. I'd assume the larger size version would suffice for surrounds, again, so long as you don't expect a big sound out of them.

WEBMay 11, 2016 · Something funny is that Denon has a few 4 ohm capable receivers (per their sales literature), and marantz separates don't mention anything past 6. If you are going to be installing in-ceiling speakers near the TV, then you will probably need to use speakers with a built-in angle of 45 degrees, unless you are sitting quite close (what is the seating distance, BTW?). There are a few of these available but they are not inexpensive.
