The unit works for a few hours getting the freezer cold, but the refrigerator never gets cold, the fan in the freezer is not turning, then one light on the control panel blinks and the unit stops cooling completely.

AUTO Light will go out and fridge wiil heat on GAS ONLY (no swapping) Your picture shows AUTO Light ON (Auto/GAS Mode button Down---Auto Mode) So if propane is lighting off/cycling and cooling fridge down then AC is NOT Available. WEBJul 30, 2010 · It is necessary to remove the roof vent cap (4 Screws) & lift off the cap. You can look down through the roof vent screen to see the flue (3/4"round pipe).It will be necessary to cut part of the vent screen away to gain access to the spiral baffle inside of the flue.Pull the baffle up and out of the flue.

WEBJun 28, 2022 · It works fine until it doesn't. You don't mention current make/model, but Dometic 4101 is a 'direct replacement' for some of the Dometic absorption refrigerators. If you have one of them this should mean modification of the cabinet area should be minimal. Existing wiring was inadequate for the 12v fridge.

WEBNov 11, 2010 · Normally 6 to 8 deg when the fridge is satisfied at 36 and the thermostat shuts the cooling off. The Dometic cooled the freezer further, -5 or so but had far more diffeculty cooling the fridge compartment. Seems there was a bit of trade off made inthe new design to provide more cooling to the fridge compartment.

BOTH elements have to work to generate sufficient heat for the cooling process. 210W wired in series would be 420W/34 ohms/3.5A. 34 ohms (both elements) when at ambient temp.
