Does PS5 disk version allow me to download digital games?
WEBIn my opinion this was a very bad decision on Sony's part to make these two different consoles. Even though it is all but obvious that the disc version can download digital versions of games, just like the PS4, i am seeing that it still confuses people.

But then the online price vs physical gets ridiculous. In Sweden horizon Forbidden west DISC PS5 edition can be bought for 599sek. Roughly 55-60 dollars.

WEBA lil' nitpick: The "disc version" is just the standard version. We have one too many people coming to the sub thinking that you need a Digital Version PS5 to be able to play downloaded games because the "disc version" only plays disc games. Digital versions like Ghost of Tsushima, Control etc don't seem to be affected (probably because they're digital). If it's normal to see this, then fair enough.
