Rafael A. Ortiz, MD is the Chief of Neuro-Endovascular Surgery and Interventional Neuro-Radiology at Lenox Hill Hospital and is Associate Professor of Neurosurgery, Neurology and Radiology at the Donald and Barbara Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. Upon his arrival to Lenox Hill Hospital in 2012, Dr. Ortiz spearheaded the creation and rapid development of a comprehensive, innovative and safe program of endovascular neurosurgery and interventional neuroradiology Lenox Hill Hospital.Dr. Ortiz completed his residency in neurology and fellowship in stroke/neuro-critical care at Thomas Jefferson University Hospital in Philadelphia.
