All our gear was provided by the tour companies we went with. You could try one of them and see if they hired gear separate from a tour, but I've got no idea of the cost. Whale shark swim gave us free hire for the rest of the week, after we did the day tour.

Hi Karen, Yes, Yardie Homestead Caravan Park is back open after Cyclone Olwyn, as is almost all the rest of Exmouth's accommodation, visitor facilities tour operators and general businesses. Cyclone Olwyn did create a mess, but not much significant damage. Most of it was downed trees which have now all been cleared away. The Cape Range National Park was reopened last Thursday, and the Ningaloo Reef came through with little to no coral damage. Whale sharks have been sighted and swum with in good numbers since the cyclone, so it's all business as usual.
