This was a must when planning our trip to Hawaii. 20 minute walk from the hotel, this zoo is a sprawling, well-maintained property with entertainment for hours! Great value for the entrance fee. Full review by RemittanceNinja

If you are looking to get a discount of sorts for military personnel or what have you will have to show ID regardless. I recommend just paying at the gate. It was not busy in Nov/Dec time frame. Enjoy

It is set up by the hour so you deposit enough money to cover the time you estimate your visit.. it is paid into a machine near the entrance. You can always exit to add money and re-enter.
