Couples use this process to better understand one another and create options for dealing with their issues. Evaluation of options leads to agreements to take action to resolve issues and creation of mechanisms for dealing with falling back into old, unproductive habits. Couples report that having specific tools that they can use to resolve issues makes all the difference in their relationship.
