We used discover yosemite and booked direct on their website. There are numerous pick up points. Our guide Marsha was great. There are lots of stops throughout the day and a packed lunch is included in the cost. The lunch stop was at yosemite falls. The park was very busy and as we were on the tour parking wasn't an issue plus you get great info and commentary. You'll enjoy yosemite however you travel it's amazing.

Sadly, Mariposa Grove was closed when we went there, but Nelders grove had a few really big ones. Its a little tricky to find, so do your homework if you go on your own. We were on a Sierra jeep tour and part of the tour was a to take us there. It was awesome. It was a short 1 mile hike round trip to parking area that was mostly a level hike and the trees were worth it. But if you do go on our own, do your homework to find it.
