The nationwide “No Kings” protest is scheduled for Anaheim’s La Palma Park at 4 p.m. today following a series of rolling protests against ICE sweeps throughout OC this week – especially in Santa Ana.

As anti-deportation protests spread across California Monday, several people were arrested near the Santa Ana Federal Building Monday. It’s not clear how many people were arrested, but some of the protesters were accused of throwing objects at officers and setting off fireworks.

In a series of news conferences, Rep. Lou Correa and other elected officials blamed President Donald Trump for provoking unrest in the wake of ICE raids on June 9 in Santa Ana and Fountain Valley.

The peaceful protest began shortly after 6 p.m. and soon tripled in size as people congregated in front of a road closure, occupied by at least six members of the California National Guard.

Roughly 300 people gathered in Orange County Wednesday outside a federal courthouse in Santa Ana protesting ongoing immigration raids.

Throughout the afternoon, the crowd of protesters grew along Santa Ana Boulevard in front of the federal building.
