A Wisconsin man has been charged with forging letters seeking to frame and deport another man who was a potential witness against him in a criminal robbery case.Demetric D. Scott, 52, allegedly sent letters claiming to be from Ramón Morales Reyes that threatened to kill Donald Trump and bashed immigration policies to state and federal officials,

Demetric Deshawn Scott wrote letters threatening to kill President Donald Trump, in an attempt to get Ramón Morales Reyes deported, Wisconsin prosecutors said.

The allegedly forged letter duped the White House and Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem, who shared it on social media.

The man was a victim in a violent 2023 attack where his bike was stolen and his alleged attacker forged the threatening letter to try to clear his case.
