Earlier this year, Adam Sandler announced that Netflix will produce and stream Happy Gilmore 2, the sequel to one of the actor's fan-favorite films. Now, the film has added AEW wrestler Maxwell Jacob Friedman aka MJF to the cast.

Adam Sandler was seen in Verona township Friday as filming for “Happy Gilmore 2” continues in New Jersey. The actor, known for his role in the 1996 comedy classic, took a break from shooting to pose for photos with local residents, according to an Instagram post posted on the township's account.

As the production of Adam Sandler's Happy Gilmore sequel continues, the cast for the film is starting to take shape as well and another well-known athlete is expected to have a role in the film. According to Deadline,
