The Toronto Maple Leafs will start Joseph Woll in goal when they visit thre Florida Panthers at Amerant Bank Arena on Tuesday. With the Maple Leafs having games on back-to-back nights, it was expected they would split duties between Woll and Anthony Stolarz.

Turns out it didn’t take quite that long. The debate is over with two weeks to go. Anthony Stolarz put an end to it. The 31-year-old has earned the opportunity to start in Game 1 of the playoffs for the Toronto Maple Leafs. It will be his first postseason start in the NHL.

Both of the Toronto Maple Leafs goalies have been fantastic. The duo was a pretty fairly unknown heading into the season, neither of them ever topping more than 28 games in a season.
