LSU left-hander Kade Anderson's masterclass performance on Saturday night at Charles Schwab Field in Omaha (Neb.) lifted the Tigers to a 4-1 College World Series win over Arkansas. Anderson fired 7.0 innings of work with seven strikeouts while limiting the Razorbacks to one run during his time on the bump.

The redshirt sophomore left his outing against Tennessee on Sunday with muscle spasms in his shoulder. Arkansas pitching coach Matt Hobbs and trainer Corey Wood came to the mound to check on Jimenez after he faced the first batter of the eighth inning, and he left the field with Wood.
On the mound, Arkansas will start Zach Root (3.59 ERA), while LSU counters with Kade Anderson (3.58 ERA). Both lefties have been steady all season, and with the double-elimination tournament format, pitching depth could be critical.
