Before the game, the domed roof at AT&T Stadium could be seen being opened, something that hasn't happened for a Cowboys game in over two years. Unfortunately, plans to play the game under the night sky in Arlington were foiled after a metal sheet fell off the roof, forcing the stadium to close the dome back up.

Ahead of the Dallas Cowboys and Houston Texans squaring off on Monday Night Football, a large piece of sheet metal fell to the AT&T Stadium playing surface while the retractable roof was being opened during pregame.

The roof is literally falling on the Dallas Cowboys. A piece of the AT&T Stadium roof fell onto the field prior to the Cowboys' Monday night showdown against the Houston Texans.  Specifically, a large piece of metal fell from the ceiling roughly two hours prior to kickoff as the retractable roof was opening.

The Houston Texans (6-4) and Dallas Cowboys (3-6), both on losing streaks, will meet on Monday Night Football. Kickoff is 7:15 p.m.
