Long the face of a franchise for San Francisco with three World Series titles to his name, Buster Posey will now be calling the shots on what the Giants are going to look like going forward.

The San Francisco Giants introduced their new top executive Tuesday morning as franchise legend Buster Posey took the reins as president of baseball operations.

The franchise icon approached chairman Greg Johnson about assuming a larger role about a month before they dismissed Farhan Zaidi.
