Seattle police arrested three people during two separate narcotics operations in Seattle's Chinatown-International District last week.

The Seattle Police Department is cracking down on drug dealing in the city’s Chinatown-International District. On Jan. 6, bike officers with the Seattle Police Department arrested two men after seeing a series of people buy drugs from them near 12th Avenue and South King Street.

SEATTLE — Seattle police seized nearly $2,000 and over 8 grams of fentanyl during two separate arrests in the Chinatown-International District earlier this month. On Jan. 6, police say they spotted two men selling drugs near 12th Avenue and South King Street just before 11:15 a.m.

A 51-year-old man is recovering after being slashed in the lip by a person with a sword in Seattle’s Chinatown-International District. Around 6:37 a.m. on Wednesday, police got a call about a person slashed with a sword at an apartment complex near 400 8th Avenue South.

Seattle police have implemented a strategy involving SWAT and patrol officers to support the Downtown Activation Team.

Seattle officers arrested seven people in a narcotics operation on Friday, according to a Blotter post from the department.
