Philadelphia firefighters were battling a massive blaze at a warehouse in the city's Frankford section. It is especially surprising that one of the first federal agencies to come under scrutiny from the incoming administration is one that has returned billions of dollars to many of the same consumers who were counting on leaders in Washington to look out for their wallets.

The Philadelphia Fire Department spent hours battling a fire that broke out at a warehouse in the city’s Frankford neighborhood on Christmas Eve and lasted into Christmas morning.

The Winchendon Fire Department said they saw heavy flames coming from the home when they arrived at the scene.

A fire broke out in a Northwest D.C. apartment on Christmas Eve; no injuries were reported, and firefighters controlled the blaze quickly.
