A former Orleans Parish Sheriff's Office employee and girlfriend of New Orleans jail escapee Derrick Groves is accused of aiding in the planning of the escape and setting up of phone calls where Groves discussed fleeing with a third party, according to police records.

Now, as we approach the one-month mark of the infamous jail break, the New Orleans Police Chief has offered Groves and Massey legal assistance with one catch. They have to come forward and turn themselves in.

Two escaped inmates were captured over 300 miles away in Huntsville, Texas. They were extradited back to Louisiana.
