Reports of outages spiked early this morning, according to website status tracker Downdetector. By around 8:00 a.m., it had received more than 1,300 reports of outages from users who were unable to access OpenAI's generative AI tools.

According to the outage tracking site DownDetector, there were more than 1,820 users that reported issues as of 11:12 AM EST. Users reported that ChatGPT was unable to complete various tasks. Most users reported issues with ChatGPT. A reported outage map indicated that most outages were reported near New York.
