New York Gov. Kathy Hochul is launching a “You’re Hired” campaign to recruit federal workers who are losing their jobs due to the Trump administration’s program cuts.

The new "You're Hired" initiative invites workers to New York State after the firing of thousands of federal workers.

"The federal government might say, 'You're fired,' but here in New York, we say, 'You're hired,'" said Gov. Kathy Hochul in a news release.
