Fog will develop overnight and linger into this morning with some light drizzle possible. Fog will lift and by 10 a.m., but skies stay mostly cloudy midday. A cold front brings showers in the afternoon and evening.

Happy first day of October everyone! We officially wrap up September with only 1.22 inches of rain, a 2-inch deficit. This puts us as the 20th driest September of all time, with records going back to 1894.

DETROIT (FOX 2) - A drier day is on tap ahead of more seasonal temperatures this week. Monday starts with temps in the low 60s. It will be variably cloudy with a chance for an isolated shower. Beyond that, it's a dry day. Highs will reach 74, and it won't be as breezy as the weekend was.

A few more showers will continue today as remnants of Hurricane Helene continue to spin across the southern Great Lakes. Winds will be gusty at times and out of the northeast 10-20 mph. Highs climb into the low 70s.
