New York Jets coach Robert Saleh backtracked Monday after previously suggesting that quarterback Aaron Rodgers' unique cadence was contributing to the team's pre-snap penalties. The Jets were flagged for five false starts during Sunday's 10-9 home loss to the Denver Broncos.

The New York Jets (2-2) and their performance against the Denver Broncos (2-2) in a 10-9 loss in Week 4 was bad enough. Adding to that was the disagreement between quarterback and head coach. Aaron Rodgers responded to an assessment that Robert Saleh had on the team’s offense during his post-game press conference.

Aaron Rodgers was sacked five times as the Jets offense managed only 248 yards on the day— somehow much better than the Broncos, who put up merely 186 total yards. Despite that differential New York couldn't put points on the board and Greg Zuerlein missed a 50-yard field goal in the final minute to seal his team's defeat.
