Yelp has once again released its annual rankings of the ‘Top 100 Places to Eat’ in America, perhaps hoping to spare us from eating another mediocre meal over our kitchen sinks.

Heirloom, 8398 North Fresno St. in Fresno, was No. 50 on Yelp’s list of the best restaurants in the nation. The restaurant in Fresno’s Park Crossing shopping center has an average Yelp rating of 4.6 stars out of five, with reviewers praising its “great customer service” and “delicious homemade food.”

Yelp released its 12th annual Top 100 Places to Eat of 2025 featuring a wide variety of restaurants all across the country. Last year, Mr Max in Irving was the only North Texas eatery to be included.

A casual-style Mexican restaurant in South Los Angeles has been given the top spot on Yelp's Top 100 U.S. Restaurants 2025 list.

It was created by Yelp’s data science team drawing on individual reviews users post on its platform as well as the overall restaurant activity in each business area. Thirty-seven of the 100 restaurants are in California,
