SAN DIEGO — San Diego County and California leaders in K-12 public education are bracing for a second Donald Trump presidency that they say is likely to threaten federal funding for low-income, special-education and other vulnerable students,

Dry weather is headed to San Diego County this week, with periods of windy conditions anticipated Monday, forecasters said.

"High temperatures will remain below seasonal averages through Tuesday, with above average high temperatures returning Wednesday through Saturday," the NWS said.

It was a cold start to the week as overnight lows in San Diego County dropped to near record levels the last few mornings.

Seats on the grand jury are available to eligible, qualified county residents who apply by Jan. 10, according to the San Diego Superior Court.
