Three days after getting his release from Duke, Bellaire High School basketball star Shelton Henderson has committed to Miami, following Jai Lucas, who had recruited Henderson to Duke before landing the Miami job in March.

Three days after Shelton Henderson de-committed from Duke and was released from his National Letter of Intent, the 5-star small forward told Joe Tipton of On3 that he has committed to Miami.

Henderson had been part of Duke’s No. 1-rated recruiting class, along with twins Cameron and Cayden Boozer of Miami Columbus High. He asked to be released from his letter of intent last week, and Miami and Houston were among the leaders to get his signature.
