Miami Heat guard Tyler Herro was criticized for his defense the moment he was drafted in 2019. Herro is used to it but has no problem standing up for himself, especially when called out by questionable defenders.

Fear The Sword's Jackson Flickinger also explained how it's reductive to say Cleveland is only going after Herro. Head coach Kenny Atkinson and his staff want their players to seek out mismatches across all of Miami's defense.

Asked Wednesday night what the key is to playing clean basketball and limiting turnovers against the Heat, Garland said: “Pick on Tyler Herro and take care of the ball. Don’t play in tight spaces and pick on their weak defenders.”
