Police in Michigan have arrested four people after a 5-year-old boy receiving treatment at The Oxford Center died when the hyperbaric chamber he was in exploded.

Four people have been arrested after a boy, 5, died in a hyperbaric chamber explosion on Jan. 31, it's been reported.

The child who died in the Jan. 31 hyperbaric oxygen chamber fire was 5-year-old Thomas Cooper, of Royal Oak. He was trapped in the chamber when it caught fire, the family's attorney says.

Allegedly, neither a medical doctor nor a safety supervisor was at the medical facility when the chamber exploded.

The Michigan attorney general has accused the owner of a medical center and three of its employees of ignoring safety standards to make a profit.
