Ineos Britannia announced on Thursday that Ben Ainslie had parted with the British America's Cup Team after his third attempt at leading his country to victory in October ended in failure.

The breakup comes after Ainslie steered Britannia to a British yacht's first America’s Cup final in 60 years in Barcelona last year. It lost to Emirates Team New Zealand 7-2 in the final.
