The Trump administration has barred the news outlet from certain events for its use of the term “Gulf of Mexico,” which a federal judge agreed amounted to a violation of the First Amendment.

On Tuesday, a federal judge (appointed by Donald Trump, for what it’s worth) ruled against the current administration in favor of The Associated Press. The AP was banned from presidential events in February over the outlet’s decision to continue calling the U.

The AP was prevented from accessing the White House over its continued use of the term "Gulf of Mexico" in its coverage.
