Raffles at The OWO is no stranger to accolades. The uber posh hotel, which opened in 2023 in the former Old War Office building, was named one of the world’s greatest places to stay by TIME magazine in 2024, and was named one of the world’s best hotels last year by National Geographic .

About 100 people have been evacuated from a five-star hotel in central London as a fire continues to burn through the building. Twenty fire engines and about 125 firefighters have been called to the blaze at Chiltern Firehouse in Marylebone, London Fire Brigade (LFB) said.

A fire has broken out at the Chiltern Firehouse, leading to around one hundred people being evacuated from the luxury London hotel. The London Fire Brigade (LFB) said on Friday evening that 20 fire engines and around 125 firefighters have been called to a blaze on Chiltern Street in Marylebone.
