Stock futures moved lower Thursday after major indexes posted their biggest gains in years yesterday following President Trump's announcement of a pause in many of the tariffs that had spurred fears of an imminent recession and sent markets reeling.

Dow Jones futures, along with S&P 500 futures and Nasdaq 100 futures, traded modestly lower ahead of Tuesday's open following Monday's stock market recovery. Nvidia, Palantir Technologies and Tesla were big movers on the stock market today,

Wall Street's main indexes fell sharply on Monday and the S&P 500 was on track to confirm a bear market as investors sought refuge in government bonds on economic worries over the fallout of U.S. President Donald Trump's sweeping tariff plans.
