Apple’s (NASDAQ:AAPL) iPhone production in India rose 60% in the 12 months through March to $22B, Bloomberg reported late Saturday, citing people familiar with the matter.  According to the report, the company now produces 20% of its iPhones in the country,

Apple assembled $22 billion worth of iPhones in India, increasing its production in the country by nearly 60% compared to the previous year, for the period from March 2024 to March 2025, according to Bloomberg.

Apple chartered cargo flights to ferry 600 t of iPhones, or as many as 1.5 million, to the US from India, after it stepped up production there in an effort to beat President Donald Trump’s tariffs, sources have said.
