Huayna Picchu permanecerá cerrado hasta el domingo 27 de abril y su reapertura al turismo se ha programado para el lunes 28.

Turistas podrán acceder a las rutas el 11 y 26 de abril, respectivamente. Así lo confirmó Nino Del Solar, jefe del Parque Arqueológico de Machu Picchu.
