Trump's executive order slammed the ICC for "illegitimate and baseless actions targeting America and our close ally Israel."

The International Criminal Court urged member states to resist US sanctions, calling them a threat to its judicial independence. President Trump's executive order targets ICC officials over the arrest warrant for Israeli PM Netanyahu.
