A plot of land near the new Covenant Health Park was rezoned Thursday by the Knoxville-Knox County Planning Commission Meeting.

Historic Gay Street is one of the highlights of downtown Knoxville. Constructed in the 1790s as a stretch of dirt road, Gay Street became the first street in town to be paved about six decades later.
