Now streaming on Disney Plus, The Lion King at the Hollywood Bowl special allows you to revisit the iconic music from the animated classic

The musical extravaganza took place at the Hollywood Bowl last May and features stars from both the screen and stage properties. Thirty years later, “The Lion King” is still the leader of the pride and the pride of Disney.

We’re already having a huge year for musicals in Australia – but now, the world’s #1 musical is heading back Down Under, with Disney Theatrical Group announcing that an all new Australian staging of Disney’s The Lion King will premiere in Sydney from April next year – and we are excited to witness those iconic enormous giraffe puppets strut out onto the stage at the gorgeous Capitol Theatre.

The Lion King at the Hollywood Bowl, which features Jennifer Hudson, Jeremy Irons, Nathan Lane, and North West, is available to stream starting on Friday, Feb. 7.
