Chicago Bulls guard Lonzo Ball wasn’t sure if he would ever be able to play in an NBA game again. After suffering a knee injury and going through unsuccessful treatments, matters were not looking good.

Ball signed jerseys and took pictures Wednesday with the family of the late Alex Reinhardt of Dakota Dunes, S.D., who died at age 20 in late February 2023.
