L.A. District Attorney Nathan Hochman was dealt a blow after his motion that his predecessor's request for the brothers' resentencing after 35 years was roundly rejected by a Superior Court judge.

This ruling permits the scheduled resentencing hearing to continue as scheduled next Thursday to reconsider the brothers' parole eligibility
