Lyle and Erik Menendez, the two brothers who have served 35 years for killing their parents, got a bit of relief on Friday when a judge decided their case will be heard again to determine whether their sentence should be reduced.

The Menendez brothers scored a victory in court on Friday, as a judge denied the Los Angeles District Attorney’s move to withdraw a resentencing petition. The decision means that a hearing will go forward next Thursday and Friday,
