The Wolverines lost both running back starters from a year ago in Kalel Mullings and Donovan Edwards, who have both exhausted their eligibility. They also lost backup Tavierre Dunlap, who transferred to Eastern Michigan, and Cole Cabana, who transferred to Western Michigan after originally committing to Minnesota.

Redshirt sophomore Benjamin Hall will enter the NCAA transfer portal, he confirmed Tuesday on social media. He'll have three years of eligibility remaining. The 5-foot-11, 235-pound Hall appeared in eight games last season, rushing for 72 yards on 29 carries and no touchdowns, adding three catches for 12 yards.
