The Miss Maine pageant is garnering significant attention this year as it welcomes its first transgender contestant.

Bill Belichick’s 24-year-old girlfriend, Jordon Hudson, will be competing against a transgender woman in a Maine beauty pageant next month, according to a report. Hudson is looking to claim the crown of Miss Maine USA after placing as runner-up in last year’s competition — but will face a strong challenge in the form of Isabelle St.

Isabelle St. Cyr will be the first openly transgender woman to compete in the Miss Maine USA beauty pageant. St. Cyr, who is 24 years old and was born in Howland, Maine, will compete in her first pageant next month at Miss Maine USA in Portland, according to Bangor Daily News.
