Thousands of the faithful are celebrating Pope Leo XIV in a uniquely Chicago way Saturday with an event and mass at Rate Field.

"It's great. I love the support. Need it," White Sox Manager Will Venable told MLB.com Wednesday.

The pope specifically called on the “young people of the world” to find God in their hearts, and to “grow in communion so as to be beacons of hope in our troubled world.”
