The Xbox mobile app is about to get a lot more powerful. Xbox announced on Wednesday that iOS and Android users will be able to buy games, subscribe to Game Pass and more right from the Xbox app soon.

After teasing new support for in-app game purchases last fall, Microsoft is finally ready to hit "go" on this new Xbox app feature.

Late last year, following a court ruling that forced Google to allow other publishers to sell things via their own apps, Microsoft announced that it began working to allow Xbox users to purchase games via the official Xbox app.
