Chicago made it three wins in four games against Houston this season, beating the Astros 4-2 on Tuesday night at Daikin Park in the opener of a six-game homestand.

Luis Robert Jr. homered, Shane Smith pitched six effective innings and the Chicago White Sox beat the Houston Astros 4-2 on Tuesday night. Edgar Quero had two RBIs as last-place Chicago won for the fourth time in five games.

"[Robert’s play] was significant on both ends," manager Will Venable said. “Great to see him drive the ball a couple times. Obviously, really big plays in the outfield.”
