Donald Trump responded positively to a suggestion that California governor Gavin Newsom should be arrested, and, of course, the governor vehemently disagrees. It all started Sunday, when the president responded to reporters about protests going on in Los Angeles over the raids being conducted by ICE in the region.

The California governor blasted Trump amid the president’s deployment of National Guard troops to the Los Angeles area.

President Trump offered a comment on the war of words between 'Border Czar' Tom Homan and California Gov. Gavin Newsom from the White House on Monday. A reporter asked: "Gavin Newsom is daring Tom Homan to come and arrest him.
