On Tuesday, during Seminoles Heritage night, Florida State basketball (4-1) played together in its Turquoise uniform and picked up a bounce-back victory over Hofstra (4-1), 79-61, at the Donald L. Tucker Center.

FSU basketball did not let their first loss of the season linger as they beat the Hofstra Pride 79-61 on Tuesday in the Donald L. Tucker Center. The Seminoles improved to 4-1 with the win and handed Hofstra its first loss of the season.

And while Hofstra got within two points early in the second, FSU quickly extended it back to double-digits and set it on cruise control for the 79-61 victory. Given Hofstra’s 4-0 start, this might have been FSU’s best performance of the season.

Florida State started hitting some timely threes to keep Hofstra at arm's length, and they'd go on to win 79-61 behind Jamir Watkins' 17 points, Taylor Bol Bowen's 10, and Malique Ewin's 13. This was a good win over a good Hofstra team,
