MURRAY, Ky. (WKRC) — A Kentucky man known by locals as "Cowboy Cody" was taken into custody after he allegedly released a raccoon into a crowded bar Friday. According to the authorities, 40-year-old Jonathan Mason of Murray, Kentucky, was arrested after police say he released a raccoon in a bar, which resulted in one person being bitten.

Cops pulled over Mason later that night. He refused to roll his window down for them to question him, but eventually they arrested him. Mason was taken to Calloway County Jail and is facing charges of third-degree criminal trespass, second-degree assault, resisting arrest, and failure to maintain insurance.

According to a press release shared by the Murray Police Department, Jonathan Mason, 40, was arrested after he released a raccoon into a local bar after he was told he was not allowed in the establishment.
