Lebanon said Israel struck locations across the country on Tuesday, killing one person, as the Israeli military said it struck a Hezbollah weapons depot in a Syrian town near the Lebanese border.

The three worked for Lebanese news organizations, their employers said. Lebanon’s health ministry said they had been staying in a residence housing journalists.

Lebanon's health ministry said at least eight people were killed and 25 others wounded Sunday in an Israeli strike near the southern city of Sidon, where an AFP correspondent said a building was targeted.

At least one Israeli airstrike hit an apartment building in a beach town south of Beirut on Tuesday, Lebanese state media said, as other deadly strikes hit scattered locations across the country and armed group Hezbollah launched rockets into Israel.
