MLS Cup playoffs are quickly approaching as we enter the the final few weeks of the regular season. In the Eastern Conference, seven of the nine spots have already been snatched up by teams hoping to lift MLS Cup in December.

Lionel Messi's first MLS Cup playoff match with Inter Miami will be on Oct. 25. It'll be shown live in Times Square.

It took a while but we're reaching the business end of the MLS season. The top of the conferences are pretty set but at the bottom, there is quite a bit of scrambling happening. Most teams have three to five matches remaining but the line to get to ninth in leagues is a tight one.
