Demonstrations took place across the country as part of the No Kings movement, coinciding with President Trump's military parade celebrating the Army's 250th anniversary and his 79th birthday.

MISSOULA, Mont. — In Missoula on Saturday protesters are gathering as part of the nationwide 'No Kings Day' protests. The protest in Missoula started at 4 p.m. at the XXXXs, with a march down Higgins Avenue to Caras Park for a rally at 5:30 p.m.

We have a global community cheering us on, and we still have our vote. The authoritarian playbook is powerful, but is not invincible. We have no kings,” one speaker said.

Similar protests took place in other Montana cities and towns, including Billings, Bozeman, Missoula, Great Falls and Hamilton as part of ‘No Kings’ events nationwide.

Law enforcement was present at the end of the parking lot. Many vehicles passed by with occupants who waved. Many sounded horns.
